Located near the Coal House Roundabout, the clinic is easily accessible via bus route 12. It offers free on-site parking and convenient appointments, including evenings and select Saturdays. The Open MRI at Newcastle Clinic offers a patient-centred alternative to traditional MRI machines. The scanner is more than twice the width of standard models and has no enclosed tunnel, allowing patients to remain fully aware of their surroundings. A relative or support person is permitted to stay in the room and offer reassurance by holding the patient’s hand during the scan.

No prior GP-referral is required. Booking with us includes a GP phone consultation and referral. Shortly after booking you will be contacted by a GP from our team who will discuss your scan and provide a referral.
We usually provide appointments within 2–3 days of booking. We even offer same-day and next-day appointments in selected scan centres.
